Thursday wet afternoon

Hi all,

We are in Great Bend, KS getting some warranty work done which seems to never end!
More later on that......

Let's see if I can catch you up on where, what we have been doing the past several days.....

We decided to leave on Sunday of last week because of the storms that were to come through the area we were. We are soo thankful and glad we did because on Sunday when we left it was cool and soupy wet by the time we left but when we got to the Interstate the road was dry and cloudy....all the way to McPherson county which was about 50 miles from where we were going.

We got to the campground and set up then went over to our friends to catch up..
Monday we went to the dealership andthey said they could begin to work on some of the things that needed to be done so we found our friends and spent the day just visiting and doing some things here.

Tuesday, we got up early and got the coach ready for the move to the dealership....they came and got it and we left for the day and checked in occasionally to see how things were going and what they found out.....

Several things have had to be done and parts ordered but we are back in the camper for now until Monday when they will fix and repaint the stress fracture around the tail lights. They had to fix the refrigerator and order a new "sensor????" thing so it won't freeze the bottom part.... now the food is back in the refrig.
The slideouts have been fixed and are tight again so no water can get in.... I guess the rain was a blessing in disguise as we hadn't driven in too much rain and so the spaces inthe slideouts didn't show. Now the problem of the day is the heat pump not working and they may have to order a part and thank goodness we will be here so they can get it and put it in before we leave next week.

Wednesday was ladies day out I guess. We drove to Alden to a quilt store and then onto Hutchinson to the quilt store and Hobby Lobby..... no one bought much but it was a fun day anyway.

Today it is rainy and cool and Bill has spent the morning at Mike's shop and making some shelves for our closet as the closet rod has fallen down so we are "redesigning'" our closet. I spent the morning with the ladies and we got our visiting done for the day. After lunch we came back to our coach to get things back to normal here for a few days. We will go to Mike and Jeannie's for supper which we are all bringing something and I'm sure another game of joker.... the guys beat us last night! At least we don't have to get up early in the am to get ready to move by 8:30!

Hopefully the sun will shine tomorrow! I'm going to have a pedicure with my tech that I went to in Stockton...she is now living a few miles east of here! Looking forward to that!

So that is how things are going for now for us!
