Chilly morning in Branson

Good morning!

We are in Branson, Missouri this week for a camping rally. Now to back up and then move forward!

Last Friday Bill's sister and brother in law came to town and also Megan came over. They all had lunch with us and we enjoyed the time together. Friday afternoon was spent visiting and catching up with news from Stockton. Friday night we went out to eat with our friends,Bob and Jackie. We all love Mexican food!I also finally got a small quilt pinned for our grandson who is having a birthday in May. Now I'm ready to free motion quilt it.

Saturday am our oldest grandson had a baseball game so that was our activity in the morning. We had some errands to run after the game. Saturday afternoon we sat around and didn't do much. Saturday evening we went over to our nephew's house for a BBQ with the kids and Bill's sister. We had a very nice evening and really enjoyed being together with them.

Sunday morning early we left to meet our friends -----4 other couples--- in Pittsburgh to head to Branson. We met them at a truck stop and then headed to Springfield, Mo. to stop at the Bass Pro Shop! WOW!!! Is that huge! Yesterday am we all walked or drove over and scouted around there before leaving. Our hour long drive to Branson was a good driving day! Not much wind and the sun was out! We got here and set up ....later in the afternoon we decided to do some shopping and found one of the malls. We had decided to have a "community" meal which we all brought something so that was our supper. It became alittle chilly as the sun went down and so we came home and watched TV.

Going to head out in a little bit for some Ladies time out..... got to run for now....
