It's time again to catch up!

Where has time gone? We have been so busy I hate to think how fast our days and evening's have been!

Last posting we took Bryson out to dinner for his birthday....we went to Planet Sub here in Topeka...a sub/sandwich shop...it was good although Bryson didn't eat his entire sub! Then we went to Target so he could "shop"....such decisions! I remember when I was little my grandma would take me to a store and it was so hard to find something I wanted because I wanted EVERYTHING!!!! Bill says I am still like that!

We have been going to baseball games at least twice a week and sometimes 3 times a week for the 2 grandson's....it has been fun and we have really enjoyed watching them play....

For our anniversary, Bill and I went out to eat "Mexican" at a local Mexican place here.... it was good as always!
Last Saturday night Erin brought all 3 kids out to spend the night with us..that was the first time we have had Lauren stay with us overnight....she had a hard time settling down but she finally collasped about 9;45 and went to sleep. We made a "bed" on the living room floor for all 3 of them and the 2 bigger boys watched a movie before lights out. They all slept all night and were up around the regular time. They played in the morning then Ryan and Erin came out and we had lunch.
They have a swimming pool here at the park so we were able to keep them occupied by swimming at least on Satuday afternoon.

Tuesday was a busy day for us as we have found another truck to buy. Bill has been looking or really getting that "new truck itch" for over a year now. We have debated and decided not to get something else for a while and then yes we are then no we aren't..... back and forth back and forth..... we have found at our RV dealership a 2004 4500 Chevy Kodiak that was in our price range....so on Tuesday we drove to Great Bend and traded trucks..... I really hated to leave our truck there. Whoever gets that truck is getting a great truck even though it has 109,000 miles on it. We have never had a vehichle with that kind of mileage on it before. So this 2004 has 47,000 miles and will last us a long time. I will try to post pictures that Megan has taken....if not stay tuned and I will post some. One thing I can say about the truck is like the Staples commericial on TV..... THAT IS A HUGE TRUCK!!!! instead of THAT"S A LOW PRICE!!!! :)

So as we wind down our last weekend in Topeka we have ballgames tonite and in the morning for Bryson and we will see what else happens the rest of the weekend!

Stay tuned!
Until next time!
BJ
