Where did the past 2 weeks go? Our time has been zipping by and it seems we have been to dr. appt. and to ball games!
Wednesday, May 11, our middle grandson, Bryson "graduated" from Pre-school. He will attend Public School next fall with his older brother at Pauline Central. I know he is so excited about that! It was a cute ceremony! Bryson is usually pretty outgoing but on occasions like this he is pretty shy!
Saturday, May 15, was Bryson's early birthday party since his birthday was during the week we celebrated with him on Saturday afternoon with family and lots of food to eat and of course presents for his 5th birthday!
Friday, May 21st was Erin's birthday so I baked a cake and we went over to their house for supper! It was a nice evening and we enjoyed it very much! It is hard for them to take our Little Miss out to supper as she is at that age where she can't sit still very long! :) haha!!! so...it's easier at home!
Saturday we traveled to Overland Park south of KC for Brayden's baseball tourneyment.... they won both games that day so away we went again on Sunday for another 2 games! They ended up winning the tourneyment with first place! The team is working really well together and they have fun! It has been so much fun watching them play!
Monday, I had an Upper GI test done and came home and slept for most of the day ..... got up and ate something and then went to watch Bryson play his first baseball game of the year! He was so excited and did a great job! Then 20 minutes later we watched Brayden play too..... they won that game also! He is on a roll! The tests were clear except for a small polyp in my stomach that she sent in and didn't think it was anything to worry about.....
Tuesday, at noon I went to Brayden's school and ate lunch with him. It was a different feeling going back to a classroom again! I really enjoyed eating lunch with Brayden as he has been wanting me to do that since we got back the first part of May. I got to watch him at recess time also.
Today, Bill is helping Ryan's dad work on their pool and do some plumbing for the pool...so he is "working" today! I have had the day to myself and have gotten some things done I needed to do. We bought a new laptop last Friday and so I have finally gotten some time to add some things on the laptop that I used before. This laptop is sooo much faster than our other one it was time to get updated! Between the new Blackberry and this laptop I think we are "in the modern world again!"
Later this afternoon we will meet Brayden after school and then hang around to pickup Bryson. One of our birthday gifts for Bryson was a dinner of his choice and some shopping..... So far he has picked Planet Sub for supper or Red Lobster...... so stay tuned to see where we will go!
Until next time!
BJ
