We are enjoying our weekend of the Louisiana State Rally but I'm going to backtrack and catch you up for what we have been doing since I last wrote.....
We watched the grandkids on Thursday and Friday before Easter and had all 3 of them on Friday.... we had a great time although the weather was windy windy and more windy and pretty cool.
Saturday we spent most of the morning at the coach and got things straightened up there. Saturday afternoon we went over to Erin's and watched the kids while they went to a birthday party.
Sunday morning we drove over to get the 2 boys and they went to church with us. The church of course was packed so I'm glad we got there early to get a seat. We had our Easter dinner at the RV with all the kids and had a picnic outside since it was so nice. They left in the afternoon and we just relaxed the rest of the day.
I had my dental checkup on Tuesday afternoon and was glad that was over for another 4 months. Bill had a colonoscopy on Wednesday so that took up most of our day. Everything came back fine....we were very impressed with the Dr. and the Gastro Center we went to....something to be said about going to a speciality Center rather than a general MD...... certainly more peace of mind!
Thursday and Friday Bill and I ran some errands around Topeka ...just doing stuff in general!
Sunday was Brayden's 1st Communion so we spent the morning relaxing and then Jeff and Megan came by for breakfast. Then on to the church we went! It was so crowded!!! We learned from Caleb's 1st communion last year we needed to be there early! After the service everyone went to Erin and Ryan's for a BBQ and cake for Brayden..... it was a very nice afternoon and we really enjoyed it!
We said our goodbye's around 6 and left. Bill and I went back to the RV and got loaded up and hooked up to leave the park. We pulled out around 6:30 to go to Yates Center to meet our friends there. It was just getting dark when we pulled into their town park.
And that is where I'm going to end this for now....more on our trip next time!
Until then!
BJ
