Well, I have to catch everyone one with our happening's which most days aren't very exciting! It has been a relaxing week and half since I've last written. On Valentines Day we did go to a movie called "Fools Gold"..... with Matthew McConahey.... worth every penny to see him! :) We then went out to eat at a seafood place down the street which was very good too!
The following Sunday we had our friends over for a fish fry. The fish were from Lake Texoma and were stripers.... very good! Last Friday we decided to go to the Market at Marion which is the flea market. Got a few things and also went to Sam's. Denny/Karen went with us for the day. He is still having trouble with his truck and its in the shop...... a truck that is 3mo.old and they have the engine torn apart... he is not a happy camper!
This week has been spent just relaxing and enjoying the wonderful weather that decided to visit for a few days. Yesterday, Joe deep fat fried a turkey and we all brought other food to "help" and the 10 of us had a late lunch/early dinner at the rec hall...good thing too because a storm came in about the time we were just finishing..... the air is cool today and the rain came and really rained last night but no big storms here...thank goodness. We really like the 80+ degree weather we have been having...maybe next week! The furnace is running as I write this and the sun is shining brightly! Go figure!!!!
Other than doing laundry and the regular "stuff" our days are going by fast! One week from tomorrow we will leave here and go farther south. We are going to really hate leaving here and our friends here but we are anxious to see what Florida is like further south!
So that about catches us up on our happening's.... have a good day!

Happy Valentines Day!
Happy Valentines Day!
It has begun with a darn cold day! It was to get down to about 38 last night and I think it almost reached it! But the days ahead look lots warmer as the week goes on..... Hurrah!
Monday, we drove over to Homosassa Florida on the gulf coast. It was a gorgeous day and we spent the whole day over there ...about 30 miles or so. We rode with the 2 Joe's in our group and had a great time! We happened to be at the right place at the right time and drove over to apublic bridge close to some houses and canals and watched 6 manatees floating through.... so neat to see...they are huge and also just glide through the water...... so gentle! Then we drove on to Homasassa Springs Wildlife Center. We rode the tram and then found a small animal park where we walked around for about 3 hours or more looking at the animals of Florida..... so many different birds that darn... I can't mark in my book.....
But we also got to watch 6 more manatees being fed romaine lettuce by the case full! They are dining quite well besides the carrots and cabbage they eat too!
We then stopped by our friends Howard and Karen on the way home for a few minutes to see how they are doing.
Tuesday and Wednesday of this week since it wasn't nice out we just stayed around the rig and loafed so that is unexciting...... since it is Valentines day we are going out to eat at least but who knows where! Stay tuned!
So I will leave it like that for now...

Monday am Feb. 11
Good morning!
Going to get everyone caught up this am. We have been busy and going here and there and then some days are just nothing days! Guess that is the way of life going on, huh?
We have met our friends from Texas for lunch and had a fun time at The Olive Garden.... eating too much and laughing much too! We went to a craft show at an RV park about 45 miles south of here that our next door friends know one of the couples who live there. They had some unusual things at the show. It is an annual affair I'm told. The weather was gorgeous! A week ago Sunday was the Super Bowl and we sat outside and watched Joe BBQ wings while we all brought other things to eat. We lasted outside until half time then it was too cold for all of us and we went to our own "homes" to finish watching the game.
I actually got my hair cut and colored at Walmart...that was a first....the gal who did it was pretty good! Bill dropped me off and then when I tried to call him to come get me I couldn't reach him..... so after trying and trying to get him and also calling our friends here who weren't home and also our daughter we were beginning to get worried.....so I also called the office here and they came down to see if he was here.... he was.... he had turned the phone on vibrate and didnt realize it was ringing! So my stint at the walmart greeter was short! Thank God!
We had a great Wednesday last week as we went to Ormond Beach north of Daytona. Our friends of ours have some friends who have a time share condo on the beach. We weren't able to go into the time share but could use the swimming pool and decks....so we went to the beach and walked along for quite a ways then relaxed on the deck and swam. We then went to the Daytona speedway and walked around. They were begining to get things set up for race week. We all enjoyed that. We then went to supper or a late lunch at a seafood place...yummy!
Thursday was laundry day and just relaxing! Friday we went to the the Ocala RV show ....small and we had other errands to run. Saturday and Sunday we just hung around here and relaxed all weekend...... Bill changed oil in the truck etc...so that is the exciting things around here with us! We went to church yesterday and like the priest at this church.
So that has caught us up with our happenings around here...... hope everyone is doing well ...so until next time!
