Good morning!
We have been doing some traveling the past few days....
Monday, June 14 I had a dr. appt. to discuss the results of the upper GI I had done earlier in May...everything was good and she said to stay on the same "routine" I have been doing.... the polyps she found were nothing to worry about ... that's a relief anyway.
We had several errands to run after my appt. on Monday and then Brayden's ball game Monday evening in the heat! It was hot at the game.....
Tuesday mornin,g in the rain, I had a hair appt. and then we met Megan and Jeff for lunch at El Mezcal. It is always so good ! We will see them in about 2 weeks.
Tuesday afternoon we finished up what we needed to get done and then picked up the 2 little ones and took them home so Erin could come home at 5 and change clothes to leave again for Bryson's ballgame at 6. Ryan had to go to Michigan for a couple of days so she was on her own. So we came home when she got home and then left for the game right before 6.... Brayden also had a game after Bryson's so we had 3 games in 2 nights.....
That was the last of our games for us for this summer.
We left Wednesday mid morning for Louisburg for our camping rally for the weekend. We were the 3rd ones here and several began to arrive later in the day. It was great to see everyone come in. We will be here until Sunday morning.
Bill has had a dental issue and so we have had to find someone who could fix his upper plate.
We left at 6 this am to go to Gardner to drop off his dentures so they could fix the split. He will get them back this afternoon.
So he is spending the morning in the rig and relaxing.....me.... I'm going fabric shopping with some gals in a little while!
So until next time!

Saturday morning rain
Good morning!
It is Saturday morning and we had a ball game planned but it was definitely rained out... so Bill and I needed to run to Walmart and pick up a prescription and a few other things..... always something to get at Wally World!
I had made plans to take the 2 grandson's to see Shrek this afternoon but that has changed also as the oldest grandson is staying with a friend at the lake tonite and will not be able to....we will have to see a movie when we get back.
So Bill and I have some things to get done this afternoon and then take to Lawrence to Megan's to store...... always cleaning and rearranging it seems like before we travel......
I will try to post the other 2 pictures of the truck that didn't want to post the other day......
Not sure what else our plans will be the rest of the day!
Until next time!

It's time again to catch up!
Where has time gone? We have been so busy I hate to think how fast our days and evening's have been!
Last posting we took Bryson out to dinner for his birthday....we went to Planet Sub here in Topeka...a sub/sandwich shop...it was good although Bryson didn't eat his entire sub! Then we went to Target so he could "shop"....such decisions! I remember when I was little my grandma would take me to a store and it was so hard to find something I wanted because I wanted EVERYTHING!!!! Bill says I am still like that!
We have been going to baseball games at least twice a week and sometimes 3 times a week for the 2 grandson's....it has been fun and we have really enjoyed watching them play....
For our anniversary, Bill and I went out to eat "Mexican" at a local Mexican place here.... it was good as always!
Last Saturday night Erin brought all 3 kids out to spend the night with us..that was the first time we have had Lauren stay with us overnight....she had a hard time settling down but she finally collasped about 9;45 and went to sleep. We made a "bed" on the living room floor for all 3 of them and the 2 bigger boys watched a movie before lights out. They all slept all night and were up around the regular time. They played in the morning then Ryan and Erin came out and we had lunch.
They have a swimming pool here at the park so we were able to keep them occupied by swimming at least on Satuday afternoon.
Tuesday was a busy day for us as we have found another truck to buy. Bill has been looking or really getting that "new truck itch" for over a year now. We have debated and decided not to get something else for a while and then yes we are then no we aren't..... back and forth back and forth..... we have found at our RV dealership a 2004 4500 Chevy Kodiak that was in our price range....so on Tuesday we drove to Great Bend and traded trucks..... I really hated to leave our truck there. Whoever gets that truck is getting a great truck even though it has 109,000 miles on it. We have never had a vehichle with that kind of mileage on it before. So this 2004 has 47,000 miles and will last us a long time. I will try to post pictures that Megan has taken....if not stay tuned and I will post some. One thing I can say about the truck is like the Staples commericial on TV..... THAT IS A HUGE TRUCK!!!! instead of THAT"S A LOW PRICE!!!! :)
So as we wind down our last weekend in Topeka we have ballgames tonite and in the morning for Bryson and we will see what else happens the rest of the weekend!
Stay tuned!
Until next time!
